What TeacherToolsApp Collects

TeacherToolsApp stores account information, teacher user profiles, classroom names, student roster details, pass activity, tardy records, uploaded school logos, billing status, and support-related account information.

Student Data

Student information is used to help teachers and schools manage classroom pass and tardy workflows. Student records should be limited to the information needed for classroom operations, such as student ID, optional name, optional period, and optional classroom.

How Data Is Used

Data is used to provide the app, maintain account access, generate reports, support billing, send account emails, troubleshoot issues, and protect the service from abuse.

Service Providers

TeacherToolsApp may use hosting, database, file storage, email, payment, logging, and monitoring providers to operate the service. Current launch planning includes DigitalOcean for hosting, Resend for transactional email, and Stripe for billing.

Review Required

This draft should be reviewed before production launch, especially for school data, student privacy obligations, data retention, district requirements, and any applicable state or federal rules.
